Journey of Water 12 - A Message from Jinpath

How was it for you?
The journey through these 33 waters—did you find joy in it?
Before I began this series, I spent a long time in deep thought.
I wondered how I should first approach you, how I could share the sincerity of Jinpath without being too heavy or complex, and how I could make this feel like a conversation rather than a lecture.
I want you to know: This writing was never about showing off my knowledge.
It was never meant to overwhelm you with information.
I wrote these words with one simple hope: that there would be a small, positive shift in you after reading them. I wanted your life to flow in a slightly better direction, even if only by a fraction.
In the beginning, I worried about how I would be received. But as soon as I began to think of you as "Sik-Gu"—the family we share our meals and lives with—my heart found peace. That connection gave me the strength to keep writing.
I started this journey wanting to help you, but a strange thing happened along the way. Through the process of writing to you, I ended up reflecting on my own life. I found myself reconnecting with the memory of my late mother, meeting her again in the quiet depths of my heart. It was a gift I didn't expect, and for that, I am truly grateful to you.
The road ahead is long.
There are hundreds, thousands of stories yet to be told—about food, about health, about the respect we owe to those who grow our ingredients, and about the value of life itself.
To be honest, I don’t know exactly where this path will lead us. But I have learned one thing: if I write with a sincere heart, you will be the ones who guide me. My job now is to keep walking—steadily, quietly, and with the same heart I had when I took that very first step.
Calling you my Sik-Gu brings me so much warmth and gratitude.I wrote at such length about water, but in the end, I only wanted to say two things:
First, that water is not just something we drink; it is the very essence of our life force.
And second, I hope that your life, having touched these words, is now moving toward a brighter place.
That is the only reason I wrote this.
As I continue to share the words I write for my own wife and family, my sincere prayer is that your life becomes even more beautiful and fulfilling than my own.
Jinpath will accompany you on your journey.
